I’ve spent the last few months at home trying to juggle taking care of my family and working. It’s been tough, but I’m finally getting back into the swing of things. One thing that has helped me stay on top of everything is hiring a few services for staying at home. There are so many great services out there, but these 5 are some of my favorites!
Food delivery
This is one of my go-tos when I’m feeling overwhelmed. There are so many great food delivery services out there, and it’s a great way to get a healthy meal without having to leave the house.
Food delivery is also great for those nights when you don’t feel like cooking or you just don’t have time. I love ordering from my favorite restaurants and having them delivered right to my door.
Some of my favorites include: DoorDash, GrubHub, and UberEats.
Grocery delivery
I’ve been able to cut back on my weekly grocery shopping by using a service like Instacart. With this service, someone will shop for me and deliver the groceries straight to my door in under an hour! It’s amazing how much time it saves when you can just pick out your items online and have them delivered without having to leave the house.
There are a ton of different grocery delivery services out there, so be sure to check out your local options. Some of my favorites include Instacart, Amazon Fresh, and Peapod.
House cleaning
This is another service that I’ve been using lately and it’s been a lifesaver. Having someone come in and clean my house once a week takes a lot of the stress off of me. It’s also great for when you have guests coming over and you want your place to look its best.
There are a ton of different house cleaning services out there, so be sure to do your research and find the one that’s best for you. Some of my favorites include: Homejoy, Springsteeps, and Move Cleaning Company.
Laundry
I’ve had my fair share of laundry days where everything has just piled up and it’s been tough to get through. Not only is there the time-consuming task of actually doing all the clothes, but you also have to figure out what needs dry cleaning or hand washing.
If this sounds like a nightmare for you too, then be sure to hire a laundry service. There are so many great ones out there, but my favorites include: Tailor Maids and Laundrapp.
Pet care
This is a service that I’ve been thinking about getting for our dog, but haven’t pulled the trigger on yet. It’s tough to leave her alone all day when it would be great if we could bring her with us and not have to make other arrangements.
There are a ton of pet care services out there, so do your research and find the one that’s best for your pup. Some of my favorites include: Rover, DogVacay, and Pawshake.
